24.08.2006., Thursday - the inauguration of the interpretive "Premužić trail"

After long preparations and extended drudgery, we will finally greet this fabulous day - the Premužić Trail is becoming an interpretive trail! The joint forces of the Park's employees, accompanied by the specialized firm from Senj, specialized for the implementation of such and similar tasks, have brought, fastened and placed all the interpretive tables which will transform the Premužić Trail into an interpretive trail, at least for the part of it which runs through the Northern Velebit National Park. Tables with short information, pictures and educational texts about the most important aspects of the area, one of the most beautiful karst landscape in the world, were mounted. Tables are organized thematically, and they stretch from the southern entrance to the Park (near the Visibaba - "Hanging Granny" peak), all the way to the beginning of the trail close to the Zavižan mountain home. We sincerely hope that the completion of this project will make your stay in the Park more interesting and your walk on the Premužić Trail more beautiful.
