15.01.2007. - Snowless winter in the Zavižan area

The amazingly mild and almost completely snowless winter attracted numerous visitors to the Zavižan area. Although the last season snow hight exceeded 150 cm at this time of the year, the presented photos show quite a different situation now...Nevertheless, Velebit is not to be underestimated, and the weather shifts quickly in the mountains. Have that in mind when planning your visit to the park, and ask for some additional info at the Park's HQ about the weather and the forecast.
