Where to buy admission tickets and get information?

Since the Northern Velebit is a mountain park, the visiting season depends on the snow cover on the mountain peaks. The Park is normally open to visitors from the beginning of May till the end of November.

Babić Siča is the main entrance to the Park where visitors can buy admission tickets and souvenirs as well as obtain useful information. Admission tickets can also be bought at the Alan Mountain Hut or inside the Park from our ranger service.

The Park headquarters is located in the village of Krasno. It contains a small info centre that provides information and sells admission tickets and souvenirs. The Park Headquarters also features a multimedia room and an educational facility called the “Little Green Workshop”.

Working hours of Babić Siča entrance and our info-centres depends on the time of year and weather conditions. Information on working hours will be promptly published in this web-site, in the column Working hours.

When planning your visit to Northern Velebit, be sure to inform yourself about road and mountain path conditions and to read our tips and recommendations which are intended for your own safety.
